Parents: your children are their own people.
They are not clones of you.
They are not dolls for you to control.
Do not belittle them. Do not bully them. Do not tell them they don’t know their own hearts and minds, especially when it comes to gender and sexuality.
Love and support the child you have, not some idealized fiction that you think they should be.
